The GROW program was created due to the realization that many of the clients we serve are returning year after year. Many of our clients remain in the same cycle of generational poverty and never seem to advance beyond their initial starting place. The GROW program aims to focus on the portion of the mission statement that says, “empowering community participants to become self-sufficient in our service area.” The goal of GROW is for those we serve to be empowered to no longer need us! This thought informs all our actions and interactions with our clients.
Income Management
The GROW program works with program participants to budget and address financial needs to gain self-sufficiency.
Employment
We believe value is found in work; therefore, the GROW program works with participants to obtain meaningful employment with a livable wage.
Additional Barriers
The GROW program helps to address individual barriers that program participants experience that prohibit them from gaining self-sufficiency.
